“Coach K”

At 40 I had convinced myself my life was perfect. I had two beautiful children, I taught fitness classes at the local gym, and I often hosted fun parties for friends and neighbors. We had enough money to be comfortable and to keep up with trends. I made sure I was a good servant and was excellent at avoiding conflict. From the outside looking in my life was one most would admire.

Then I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I look at that diagnosis and the treatment that followed as the greatest gift of my life. It was the wake-up call I needed to see beyond the bubble I had created. It challenged everything I believed about myself. My own identity was torn away - the one that I thought mattered. The identity with the nice house and the long blonde hair. The identity that said I could do it all and do it alone. Everything I knew about myself was stripped away, and I was left with a raw and vulnerable true being. I had been covering her up for so long I didn't recognize her anymore.

I was forced to question who I truly was and what I valued most in my life. I had agonizing time to question - why am I here?

With courage and effort, I made friends again with my soul. When I recognized her, I knew my life needed to change in a profound way. There was MORE I needed to do. MORE I needed to learn. MORE I needed to give and MORE I needed to experience.

From that momentous time, I have owned a business, written a book, left an unfulfilling marriage, and embraced a new one with the love of my life. I have investigated and explored to find, hone, and develop my calling. That calling started as an ember and has grown into a raging fire. I coach women and help them experience the same profound awakening I was lucky enough to experience at 40. This is how MORE was born.

Through years of coaching hundreds of women of our generation, I recognized the deep need to find the fulfillment most of us have never allowed ourselves to experience. The exploration and development of self.

I see the thirst women have to love themselves and the fear they feel in doing so. I hear the longing of their hearts they are afraid to let shine.

MORE is a community of women empowering each other to reach their full potential. A safe space to explore who they are, what they crave for themselves and to finally recognize their worth.
